Lockdown Restrictions Update

In keeping with the current NI Lockdown restrictions, only essential journeys are permitted.

To keep our clients and our staff safe and in keeping with the guidelines issued by our CSP, we need to continue to triage all calls to ensure only essential visits are made.

Travelling for a medical physiotherapy appointment is allowed, and, if you are comfortable with attending, hands on treatment face to face is our preferred option. In other cases, we will carry out a phone or video consultation for self help advice and exercises.

To minimise the risk of infection from this new, highly contagious strain of Covid 19, we need to continue to ask your Covid screening questions and adhere to the highest infection prevention control procedures.

For appointments, we would ask:- Please arrive at your appointment time and where possible, come alone, bringing a facemask, mobile phone and credit/debit card for payment.

If you or someone in your household is Covid positive or self-isolating, please let us know, as we can offer video consultations at a time that suits you.

Thank-you all for your patience through these times. We are very grateful to you, our clients, for supporting us in our new operating procedures.

Merry Christmas 🎄

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from your North Down Physio Team.

After an eventful 2020, I would like to say a big Thankyou to all my NDP family of Erica, Cat, Helen, Jill, Laura, Steve, Nina, Gillian, Caroline, Sandra and Irene.
With your support we have got through this year and created our new normal.
Bring on 2021!
We are ready for you!

Clinic Open

We are grateful once again that our Clinic can remain open through this next period of NI restrictions.

We consider ourselves lucky as many other businesses and charities are finding this a particularly challenging time.

With that in mind, in lieu of our clinic Christmas outing and gifts, we have chosen 3 charities to support…

Women’s Aid North Down and Ards, for women and children moving away from domestic abuse.

LifeHub NI a local food bank initiative.

Samaritans Bangor and North Down, for youth mental health.

Very worthy charities, especially at this time of year.

Stay safe everyone.

💗💗💗

Steve is available for appointments

NDP expert massage therapist, Steve, has returned to the clinic setting just in time for Christmas 🎄

With NI Assembly restrictions halting massage therapy for a short period, we have had confirmation that Steve is authorised to continue to provide treatment following the clinic guidelines and PPE.

Hurry to book your massage before Christmas!!

Phone the clinic on 02890425517

Gift vouchers also available 🎅🏻

Birthday Wishes 🎂

Happy Birthday to these two amazing people 🎉🎂
We are very lucky to have Steve and Cat @NDP, their hard work and dedication to the clinic and their clients is to be commended 👏🏼
We have celebrated their birthdays over the years…
photos from 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2020!
No guessing ages, however the candles give it away 🤫😉

Feeling very grateful 😊

At NDP we are feeling very grateful that the new restrictions in NI, due to come into effect from Friday, will not affect our current business arrangements.

We are an essential medical service, and will remain open.

We will continue to provide the high standard of professionalism and care, whilst adhering strictly to our Chartered Society guidelines for infection control and screening procedures.

All our thoughts are with the local businesses in retail, hospitality and hairdressing/beauty therapy (and all the background business in their supply chain) that are struggling, unable to open or have had to re-invent their business.

Please shop local this Christmas, purchase gift vouchers, share their posts on social media and be kind.

Zoom Pilates

With current restrictions on indoor classes, we have had to delay the opening of our Pilates in-house at TheStudio@NDP for another wee while.

We are disappointed, as we have all the covid secure measures in place and we were so excited to get back to teaching you in person!

However, we are inviting you to join us for our classes live on zoom!

Our physio-led zoom Pilates classes are on Tuesday and Thursday night at 7.30pm.

Laura is getting great numbers, and the feedback has been so positive.

Please email northdownphysio.studio@gmail.com for more details on how to join in from the comfort of your home.

We are still open

With the Assembly announcement of new restrictions we are just reassuring you, we are open for all appointments, and continue to provide a safe and caring environment for your physio treatment.

Our dedication NDP team are here to answer any questions and discuss any concerns you might have regarding your treatment.

Please feel free to call us on 028 90425517

MacMillan Coffee Morning

Our annual MacMillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning usually takes place this time of year, however unfortunately due to Covid, we felt it was too risky to invite so many people through our doors.

We have been holding a MacMillan Coffee Morning every year since 2014, and we have raised about £5770 to date.

Macmillan Cancer Support, like many charities, rely on events and donations to allow them to carry on their amazing service to people with terminal and cancer diagnosis.

Some of us in NDP have had first hand experience of their support, and it is invaluable, hence why we put so much into our coffee mornings….it’s our way of giving a little back.

This year Macmillan in Northern Ireland will be missing out on donations through these events, and they will suffer financially. So, if you are able, any donation is appreciated.

Here is a link to follow to raise a mug and donate….. we will be ☕️🧁🍰💷

You will just have to wait until next year to taste Erica’s famous Pimm’s Cake and Carrott Cake!!! 🍰
